1. TIME Magazine Person on the Year: Elon Musk
This past Monday, TIME magazine announced Elon Musk, aka the “King of Twitter”, “Doge Coin evangelist”, “Chief Meme Officer”, as the 2021 person of the year. In honor of Elon’s great recognition, I thought it would be appropriate to look back on my favorite Elon Tweets from 2021:
1. “Senator Karen” 😂
2. Elon: 1 - Bernie: 0
3. Simple Math
2. Stop waiting until you get “there” to be Happy
Something many people struggle with (myself included), is the idea of “once I reach this goal, I’ll finally be happy”. Whether it be “once I make a million dollars” or “once I get this job title”. The reality is that once you finally get to the goal, you won’t be happy if you’re not happy in the pursuit of the goal.
Dr. Ben-Shahar has coined the term “arrival fallacy” for this feeling of “once we make it or reach our goal, we will reach lasting happiness.”
In this 1988 Harvard Study, 2 groups of College professors were tested for their happiness levels. The 1st group had been granted Tenure (a prestigious status), and the 2nd group had been denied Tenure. The results showed that the happiness levels of both groups were almost identical, despite one group not reaching their goal of Tenure.
In short, learn to enjoy the process and don’t pin your happiness on a specific goal, and you will have a much happier life.
3. Here’s 3 Businesses you can start today with $0
I recently put out a thread on Twitter with 3 business ideas you can start immediately with literally $0. These are all businesses I had tried (or done something very similar), and I know they can generate cash with a little sweat equity. So here they are:
1. Niche Instagram Account
Pick a niche (watches, drones, cars etc)
Create a clean looking instagram name (avoid .’s or _’s in the name)
Follow 200+ accounts and hashtags in your niche to find viral content
Repost viral content 2-3x per day, and use relevant hashtags
Follow accounts that like or interact with other accounts content in your niche. Unfollow them if they don’t follow you back within 3 days. This should get you to 1,000+ followers.
Once you get to get 5,000+ followers you can sell shoutouts on your page, or sell the account on a site like fameswap.com
2. Amazon Print on Demand
Sign up for a Merch by Amazon account at merch.amazon.com
Upload artwork for t-shirts (use viral/trending topics or sayings)
Select shirt color & price, and Amazon does the rest
Post on Pinterest and other social media platforms for free advertising
Every time someone buys a shirt, you get a % of the sale!
3. Substack Newsletter (like this one)
Sign up for a Substack Account
Pick a niche or topic to focus on, and a content schedule. (ex. every Wednesday)
Write about current events or use a site like answerthepublic.com for content ideas.
Spread the word and get friends & family to subscribe
Once you reach 1,000+ subscribers you can upsell a % of your subscribers to a paid/premium subscription or sell ad space in your newsletters.

Amazon Print on Demand is a great idea..I reside in India and discovered a similar service for Indians (Blinkstore) (https://blinkstore.in/) but I can't come up with anything catchy or trendy enough that would allow me to earn from this side hustle! :D
