1. AI DNS Settings Tool
I’ve actually been thinking about this for a while now.
Not this tweet. But the problem he’s referencing.
With the roll out of Google’s new email spam rules in 2024, DNS settings are a hot topic. Everyone knows they need them, but it feels complicated to make sure they’re set up correctly.
I actually made a video about how to set up DNS for Gmail, and it still gets views every single day.
So here’s the idea…
Build an AI tool or app that does this for you.
This could look like a Chrome extension or a web app. But it should have 3 things:
Be easy enough that a tech-newby can use it.
Give the user a piece of mind that the DNS is set up correctly.
Be priced low enough, so its a no brainer purchase, as opposed to trying to set it up themselves.
This can easily be a micro-saas that generates many thousands per month.
2. Millenial Designer Hotels
This one definitely requires a bit of startup capital, but I think it’s an incredible opportunity.
If you’d typically rent a motel room for $100 - $200 per night, you could rent a ‘designer motel’ for $500-700 per night.
You 3-4X the revenue of a motel, by “rebranding it”.
Here’s 2 other way’s you could get involved with this business, without buying the motel:
Make content about these “design hotels”. (Youtube video reviews, blog posts, newsletter, etc.)
Designer Motel Consultant/Contractor: Create a program that shows motel owners exactly how they can turn their boring motel into a “designer motel” or do the full re-design for them.
