1. One Feature Apps
I love this story.
Jack made an app that does one thing well: Social Media Scheduling.
And it’s already at $1K MRR in a few weeks.
The crazy part is… there’s already a ton of softwares and apps that already do this. But Jack offered this one feature, in an easy to use package, at a reasonable price.
Most people don’t need a software suite that offers 100+ features at a premium price.
Here’s the playbook:
Find one key feature in an expensive software.
Build that one feature in an easy to use interface.
Charge a fraction of the price.
Promote on social.
There’s an unlimited number of one-feature app ideas hiding in major SaaS platforms, you just gotta find them.
2. Accountability As a Service
It’s almost Jan 1st, which means it’s the perfect time to launch this business.
Accountability as a service. (AAAS)
The one thing standing between most people and their goals is consistency.
And staying accountable to consistency is hard. An accountability service solves that.
Choose a niche → start with a small group → get testimonials → scale.
Here’s some niche ideas:
Build a business.
Quit smoking.
Fitness.
Nutrition.
Investing.
Almost anything to do with health or wealth will work.
3. Three Directory Business Ideas
Per usual, Greg Isenberg tweet’d out a list of killer business ideas this week.
But 3 in particular caught my eye… because they’re all directory ideas.
Directories are awesome because the biggest risk is your time.
They take a while source all of the info and data, but anyone can learn to build one, and platforms like Unicorn platform make it extremely cheap to build. Use code “viafirst20” for 20% off. 😉
The biggest hurdle with a directly is finding traffic. And to solve that, I would use reddit, cold email, and social media.
I’m building one right now. Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll send it to you!
