What’s up party people! We’re back with another side hustle idea!
Before we dive into today’s idea, let’s connect on Twitter!
1. Business idea of the Week: Home Made Cold Plunges
If you’ve been on the internet in the last year, you’ve probably heard the term “ice bath”.
An ice bath is exactly what it sounds like.
A bath or tub of cold water that you submerge yourself in for benefits like:
Reduced Inflammation
Increased Dopamine
And the trend is undeniable.
Check out the Google trends for the search term “ice bath”.
But there’s just one issue with ice baths….
They’re crazy expensive.
Sure, you can buy a plastic tub and fill it with ice, but that’s not ideal.
Trust me. I’ve done it. And re-filling the tub with ice every time is a total pain.
But if you want one that stays cold, you’re looking at a $5,000+ price tag. Ouch…
So how can we solve this problem and make a business?
The idea: Create DIY ice baths and sell them locally.
After some research, I’ve found that you can build an ice bath with a deep freezer.
Since the freezer already has a chilling unit built into it, it’s one of the most budget-friendly ways to build an ice bath.
But there are still some modifications that need to be done to them.
The deep freezers needs to be sealed off and outfitted with a water filter to make the ice bath usable. And this is where we’ll make our money.
Here’s how this will work:
Post the ice bath for sale on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.
When you get someone that is interested, tell them it will be a week to get it to them.
Once you make the sale, you can buy all the materials and assemble them.
You can buy a deep freezer for roughly $500 and let’s assume an additional $100 for the other materials. This means your all-in price = $600.
You can use this guide to look at materials and assembly instructions.
So if you post the completed ice bath on Facebook or Craigslist at $800-$900, this leaves you with $200-$300 profit.
Not bad for a quick flip.
Now, this likely won’t turn into a big business, but it can be a risk-free side hustle to earn a few hundred dollars a week.
And that’s a wrap!

3. How to Be More Confident.
Confidence is defined as “a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities.”
A confident person will almost always outperform someone that’s not confident.
Confidence will help you in your career, relationships, and almost all aspects of life.
But how does someone just become confident?
There’s only one tried and true way that I’ve come across, and that is:
By doing what you say you’re going to.
This means doing what you tell others you’re going to do, and most importantly, doing what you tell yourself you’re going to do.
Tell me if this sounds familiar:
You tell yourself that you’ll wake up super early to work out, and then when the first alarm goes off, you hit snooze and make an excuse to not go.
Guess what? That’s hurting your confidence.
If you don’t do what you tell yourself you’re going to do, you’re lying to yourself.
And that’s how you lose your confidence.
