AI powered side hustles are all the rage these days.
In my opinion, most of them are overhyped and won’t work.
But this week I stumbled into an idea that’s super quick to set up and has the ability to start generating semi-passive income quickly.
This side hustle uses the power of AI to create digital products that can be sold on marketplaces like Etsy.
The idea: Create and sell AI generated patterns on Etsy.
With a quick search on Etsy, we can see a bunch of listings for digital patterns with 100’s of reviews (which means they’ve had 1000’s of sales).
Now you may be asking: why would people buy digital patterns?
There are many different reasons people purchase digital patterns, but they’re commonly purchased to print on fabrics, blankets, wallpaper, etc.
The setup of this business is very simple:
Use Midjourney to generate patterns.
Use photopea.com to make edits to the photo.
Upload to Etsy.com.
Optimize the Etsy listing for search on the platform.
Rinse & Repeat.
Midjourney will cost you ~$9/month and Etsy charges $0.20 per listing, which means you can start this entire side hustle for under $20.
You’ll need to be patient when you’re waiting for your first sale, but if you stick with it long enough, the sales will come.
Now let’s be honest… this idea isn’t going to make you rich. But it can be a great opportunity to make some extra cash on the side and get the hang of selling products on Etsy.

3. An SEO Cheat Code
Two weeks ago, I covered an easy hack for building SEO backlinks.
It involved reaching out to other websites in your niche to write an article for their website, in exchange for a link to your website.
While that method will always work, it’s a lot of work to do outreach, pitch article ideas, and write the articles.
So this week I have an easier method for getting backlinks.
The strategy? Buy expired domains.
It’s really that simple.
There are domains that people have already put the work into building backlinks for, and now they’re sitting dormant.
This means the domain expired, and is left sitting there with no website.
This provides an opportunity to buy the domain, rebuild the website, and start ranking in Google asap.
