What’s up party people! We’re back with another side hustle idea!
Before we get started, let’s connect on Twitter!
1. Business idea of the Week: Christmas Light Installation Side Hustle
It’s that time of the year again.
People are taking down their Halloween decorations, and bringing out the Christmas lights.
More than 80 million homes in the US will install Christmas lights this year.
And if you want to make a few thousand dollars this month, all you need to do is convince a few of those homes to let you hang the lights for them.
The idea: A Christmas light installation business.
Starting this week, there is a huge opportunity for this service.
Hanging Christmas lights is a pain in the butt, so people are willing to pay hundreds of dollars for you to hang them.
Getting started:
The great thing about this business is that it doesn’t take a bunch of money, tools, or experience.
You can watch a few YouTube videos on how to hang lights or get experience by hanging lights on your own house.
Most people recommend that you only offer to hang lights that you purchase yourself, but you can also offer to hang the lights your customers already own.
Once you have the basics down, it’s time to get your first customers.
Since this is a local service, your best bets will be yard signs, flyers, and Facebook ads.
Post yard signs all around town with your phone number.
Set up Facebook ads to target people in your area.
Once you’ve got your first few leads, it’s time to create quotes for your service.
You can use Google Earth to measure the roof lines and charge $8-$12 per foot.
This means your average job will likely be $500 to $1,500.
Not bad for a few hours of work…

I spent an hour scrolling Twitter trying to find businesses or services that people are looking for.
Let’s take a look. 👇
For most businesses, employees are the biggest expense.
Solve an employee problem = big money.
This is a big problem.
Will likely take a lot of money + employees to solve, but the reward is massive.
