What’s up party people! We’re back with another side hustle idea!
Before we get started, let’s connect on Twitter!
1. Business idea of the Week: Custom Holiday Baby Clothes
As we head into the holiday season, there are a lot of opportunities to make money.
Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas, etc.
Consumers are preparing to spend money and brands will have some of their biggest revenue days of the year.
So with all of this money being thrown around, you need to figure out how to get some of it for yourself.
And today’s idea is a simple side hustle you can start with almost $0.
The idea: Create and sell custom holiday baby clothes.
The best part of this side hustle is that it can all be done with print-on-demand, meaning you only order the product when someone buys it.
This will involve designing the clothes, posting them on Etsy, and fulfilling the orders when someone buys.
The 3 tools we’ll need for this include:
Canva.com to create the designs (or hire someone on Fivver to make them).
Printify.com to create and fulfill the clothing.
Etsy.com to list and sell the clothes.
When thinking of the designs to create you can look at what's already selling on Etsy.
For example, “Baby’s first Christmas” or “Baby’s first Thanksgiving”.
You’ll need to be creative to stand out and differentiate yourself from all of the other sellers.
Once you’ve got your ideas and you’ve created them using Canva (or paid someone on Fivver to make them), you can upload your designs onto Printify.
From there, you can connect your Printify with Etsy to automatically post the listings to Etsy.
Once someone orders on Etsy, the order will automatically be created with Printify and shipped to your customer.
Easy as that.
Some additional tips:
Make frequent updates to your listings to keep them fresh and the Etsy algorithm will be more likely to push them.
Experiment with Etsy ads to start getting traffic when you initially start.
When in doubt, create more listings and designs to increase your chances of finding a winning product.
And that’s a wrap!

3. The Law of 250
This week I came across The Law of 250, made famous by the World’s best salesman.
Joe Girard holds the record for the most cars (1,425) sold in one year, which landed him the “World’s Greatest Salesperson” title by the Guinness Book of World Records.
One of the secrets that Joe attributes his success to is the Law of 250.
After speaking to a funeral director, Joe found out that the average funeral had 250 people in attendance.
This means that the average person has the ability to influence roughly 250 people throughout their life.
So although you may only leave an impression on a few people every day, they’ll have the ability to influence what another 250 people think about you.
This law of 250 can be your best friend or your worst enemy.
Use it to make more people like you or more people hate you.
Make every impression count.
