1. Business idea of the Week: Building Websites For Local Businesses
Google recently announced theyāre deleting āGoogle Business Profilesā in March.
Thousand of local businesses rely on these Google Business profiles for their websites, which means theyāll all be without a website soon.
Completely wiped from the internetā¦ unless they create a new website. š¤
And thatās our opportunity.
The idea: Build websites for businesses using Google Business Profiles.
Any website ending in ābusiness.siteā uses this Google service for their website, and will be affected in March.
This means they only have a month to figure it out - and youāve got an opportunity to make some quick cash (or build an agency) if you put in the work.
Hereās how this worksā¦. go to ww.google.com/advanced_search and input ābusiness.siteā in the site or domain search box and use the all these words search box to narrow your search to a specific state or business type.
Now you have a list of businesses (aka, leads) to reach out to.
Go to their websites or Facebook and search for phone numbers and email addresses.
Now itās time to sell.
Cold calls, texts, and emails are your best bet.
Hereās a script you can start with: āHey {Insert name}! My name is Nic and I just came across your {insert business}. Iām on your website right now and wanted to give you a heads up that Google is getting rid of its business website service in March, which will delete your website. I build websites for businesses like yours and would love to build you one if youāre interested?ā
Pricing: Pricing is totally up to you, but I recommend offering two options.
Option 1: One-time fee of $300+, and then hand over the website to them.
Option 2: $20 set up fee and then $50+ per month + you manage any changes or updates.
Option one gives you a nice upfront payday, while option two gives you that sweet recurring revenue.
To get your first customer, youāre going to have to reach out to a lot of businesses.
The more you reach out to = the better chance you have.
If youāre going to try this, plan on reaching out to at least 100 businesses to your first few customers. This will take work, but itās an incredible opportunity right now.
And thatās a wrap!

3. Twitter Business Ideas
I spent an hour scrolling Twitter trying to find business ideas.
Hereās a few I found. š
Itās 2024 and somehow taxes are still a mystery to most.
The IRS allegedly knows exactly how much you owe, but wonāt tell you (unless you pay the wrong amount).
I think this is a joke, but thereās a real pain point behind it.
They say if you want to make a billion dollars, solve a billion dollar problem.
Taxes = a billion dollar problem.
Assisted living is a massive business opportunity.
This graph shows that theirs a massive spike in demand, with a decrease in supply.
More demand than supply means you can charge a premium.
Itās not necessarily a business Iād like to be in, but itās a business with guaranteed demand.
Espresso Martiniās are a massive trend right now.
And I love them just as much as everyone else.
Check out the search trends. š
But thereās two things I hate about them:
Theyāre extremely expensive at restaurants. (Usually over $15)
Theyāre a pain is the a** to make at home.
A canned espresso martini solves these issues.
