1. Business idea of the Week: Sell Your Own GPT App
OpenAI recently announced their GPT store… and it’s big news for us.
This is like Apple launching the app store.
Or Google launching their Chrome Web Store.
Except you don’t need to know how to code. Only some time and creativity.
The idea: Create custom GPT’s for the new GPT store.
In late 2023, OpenAI launched custom GPT’s, which allows you to create your own personal AI.
These GPT’s will become “experts” in whatever you tell it to.
For example:
SEO Expert Blog Writer
Logo Designer
Recipe writer for weight loss
Product researcher
All you need is the $20/month plan, and you get access to the GPT builder.
Monetization:
So, the money part of this is still a bit unknown.
Here is the official statement from OpenAI:
In Q1 we will launch a GPT builder revenue program. As a first step, US builders will be paid based on user engagement with their GPTs. We'll provide details on the criteria for payments as we get closer.
GPT builders will be paid based on how much their GPT is used.
So the more GPT’s you build, launch, and market, the better chance you’ll have.

I’ve always heard that being “emerged” in the language (aka, living in the country) is the best way to learn, but maybe this is “close enough”.
Duolingo is currently worth $8.89 billion. Big money in language learning.
This might be a bit of a joke, but this sounds like a TikTok product winner.
This blowfish hangover cure is 50% caffeine and 50% pain killer.
Just take out the pain killer, and market why Chai is the “ultimate hangover cure”.
Boom. Million dollar TikTok shop product.
I’ve never been to Japan, but their 7 Eleven looks pretty awesome.
